Deoghar is holi place for Baidyanath Dham of Lord Shiva Temple for Hinduism in district Deoghar,Jharkhand.It is one of the twelve jyotirtingas and also one of the 51 saktipeeths.They were kept together,side by side only in India.In July or August,(Shravan month),every year,about 7-8 million devotees come here from various States of India, collecting holy water from the Gangas at Sultangunj-almost 108km from Deoghar and they present it to Lord Shiva.A grand Mela is organized for a long days.There are so many famous visiting places in Deoghar like Babadham Temple,Naulakha Temple,Basukinath Temple,Tapovann,Trikuty Parwat,Basuki Nath,Arogaya Bhawan,Nandan Pahar,Trikuth Pahar,Tower Chowk,Shiv Ganga,Satsanga Ashram,Rikhia Ashram,Prabhu Jagadbandhu Ashram,Ram Nivas Ashram,Central Plaza,Bombay Bazaar,Satsanga Ashram,Ram Krishna Mission,Harila Jori,Koiridih etc.Doeoghar is situated about 316km away from Howrah Station and it has very good railway communication from all States of India.There are so many hotels and lodges which are available in Deoghar for all visitors,devotees and tourists.The names of famous hotels are Yatrik,Rameshwaram,Baidyanath,Amrapali Clarks Inn etc.
